When Fiance Couldn't Make It To Hospital, A Disabled Vet Delivered His Baby

A disabled veteran delivered his newborn daughter when his fiancée went into labor in the most unexpected spot.

On Nov. 21, a heavily pregnant Charlie White thought she was suffering from severe back pains, and decided to go to the hospital. It wasn't long until she realized she was in labor.

“When that last pain hit I just knew it was time, and I couldn’t stop it,” White said.

Marcus Nash, who suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), immediately sprung into action when he saw the scene unfold before his very eyes. He told Fox 5 he laid White on the sidewalk, just steps from outside their home.

"I laid her down right here," Nash said. "The baby was coming out."
