The music world is mourning the loss of blues harmonica legend James Cotton.  The 81-year-old died Thursday after a bout of pneumonia.  Cotton opened for and played with Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin, the Grateful Dead, Keith Richards and Steve Miller over the years.  His most notable gig though may have been as a sideman for Muddy Waters.

His last album was "Cotton Mouth Man" in 2013.
